That Katsutoshi Karatsuma's (Kara-yan) voice was used in the Tofu-Survivor as well as re-recorded in the Remake. Kadoi said that they didn’t have to since he still sounded the same. They guessed that Mikami asked him to do it since he would do something like that.
He is also the programmer for the enemies in the original RE2. #refacts
